Once pastors have more affection for their congregation than for Jesus they are of no use to God. They have put themselves on the throne that belongs only to Jesus. Once pastors refuse to tell their congregation how a political candidate hates Christ and the gospel, they despise their own nation and hate the next generation.
Matthew 10:37 (TPT)
“Whoever loves father or mother or son or daughter more than me is not fit to be my disciple.[a] … or “is of no use to me.”
Christians must discuss the national danger. We must be able to discern what is important and conclude what political candidates we stand behind.
Mario Murillo states on his blog:
“Never have the battle lines been more clearly drawn. Never has the shameless flagrant intention of the Democrat Party been clearer. Never has the threat been greater. Never has there been more at stake than in this election.”
“In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.” – Martin Luther King Junior
Let those who will hear truth, hear. Let those that refuse truth, refuse – but know this that destinies will be written based on how your hear.
Revelation 13:9-10 (ESV)
9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear:10 If anyone is to be taken captive, to captivity he goes; if anyone is to be slain with the sword, with the sword must he be slain. Here is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints.
The sin of compliance with abortion is the greatest issue we must now be held accountable for. It is producing an unthinkable “spirit of compliance” across our nation and the world, that leads to the needless wearing of masks, the shutting down of churches, and even the shutting down of critical meat processing plants. Never mind that a single Army field unit at a processing plant treating the sick with hydroxychloroquine, zinc, etc., would prevent a shutdown. Forget the fact that people who have already recovered from COVID could be hired to keep the plant open. The true issue is not a lack of creative ideas – it is a spiritual issue. There are spiritual forces actively deceiving our churches, state governments, and our federal bureaucracies.
The events that took hold of ancient Israel are repeating. Because they sacrificed their babies to Moloch, God sent judgement, so too, in our time. Jonathan Cahn’s epic work, “The Harbinger (I & II),” as summarized by many interviews he has conducted, document many incredible facts to this repeat of history. Thus God also says to us:
Isaiah 1:15-17 (TPT)
15 When you stretch out your hands to pray,
I will hide my eyes from you.
Repeat your prayers all you want, but I will not listen,
for your hands are stained with innocent blood.
16 Wash yourselves and make yourselves clean.
Remove your evil actions from my sight
and stop sinning!
17 Learn what it means to do what is good
by seeking righteousness and justice!
Rescue the oppressed.
Uphold the rights of the fatherless
and defend the widow’s cause.
There are two possible outcomes to our situation as described in the next two verses:
18 Come now and let’s deliberate over the next steps to take together.
Yahweh promises you over and over:
“Though your sins stain you like scarlet,
I will whiten them like bright, new-fallen snow!
Even though they are deep red like crimson,
they will be made white like wool!”
19 If you have a willing heart to let me help you,
and if you will obey me, you will feast on the blessings
of an abundant harvest.
20 But if you are stubborn and refuse to obey,
the sword will eat you instead.
The mouth of Yahweh has spoken.
